Application
ZBG type peripheral driving mud scraper is applicable for scraping and drossing of radial flow (circular) sedimentation tank with large diameter (φ>15m)of water plants or sewage plants in drainage works.

Structure and operational principle
Peripheral driving mud scraper is mainly composed of center rotary support, main beam (trussed beam, folded plate beam), flow guiding cylinder, scraping and skimming plate, current collecting device, drive mechanism.
Raw water flows from the bottom of the pond to top of central buttress, after water distribution of flow guiding cylinder, the water flows into the water collecting tank around the pond radially. As the decrease of radial flow velocity, the suspended substances in raw water are separated and sedimented to the bottom of the pond. The rotary truss is centered around the center support. Under the action of drive device, the end travelling wheel revolves around the pond to drive the lower scraping plate to rotate slowly. The sludge are collected in center mud collecting tank of sedimentation tank and will be discharged by hydrostatic pressure or pump, the upper dross will be scraped and discharged to deslagging hopper by drossing plate at the same time.

Note: the height of tank is decided by users, recommended height for primary sedimentation tank is 4.5m, for secondary sedimentation tank is 4.0m, and recommended slop of tank bottom is 1/10. The data shown on the table are for half bridge, the size for ordinary and structure condition are for reference only.

2. Full bridge peripheral drive mud scraper has the service bridge across the tank diameter, two sets of symmetrical drive mechanisms and scraping plat devices are placed on two sides of the truss.
