Application and introduction
DY type belt filter press is the efficient dewatering equipment after the thickener that dewaters the thickened sludge to form filter cake. It has features of automatic control, continuous operation and stepless speed regulation, it is applicable for multiple kinds of sludge dewatering in city, papermaking, printing and dyeing, leather, textile, chemical industry, food industry.

Operational principle
After intensive mixing, sludge and flocculant are sent into sludge gravity dewatering area of belt filter press to be dewatered by the gravity of sludge itself, there is sludge distribution device in gravity area, so the sludge can be distributed on filter belt and then be pre compressed and dewatered in the wedge press section between upper and lower layer networks and finally form the filter cake in press area.
