Submerged reciprocating mud scrape
Submerged reciprocating mud scrape

Submerged reciprocating mud scraper is used at the bottom of a rectangular tank. The scraper integrates continuous sludge delivery and thickening. It features fewer moving parts, less maintenance, constant sludge delivery, high reliability, easy and convenient installation, sludge thickening, etc. The scraper is widely used in a host of various types of sludge sedimentation systems.

Models
DWF——Electric type
YWF——Hydraulic type

Benefits Of Submerged reciprocating mud scrape
● Stable moving parts
● Applicable to existing rectangular sedimentation tanks
● Constant sludge delivery
● Easy installation
● High movement reliability
● Sludge thickening available
● PLC touch screen control
● Able to scrape all mud with no dead angle

Structure Principle
Gear oil pump or reduction gear box provide power.  A set of triangular supports transform the vertical movement of the pushrod to horizontal movement and then lead a set of wedge-shaped scraping plates for reciprocating motion at the bottom of a rectangular tank. The forward speed of the scraping plate is approximately half of its backward speed. Moving forward, the concave surface of the wedge plate pushes sludge towards the sludge ditch of the tank. Moving backward, the plate with small wedge-shape acute angle won’t scape the sludge backward.  Yet, the negative pressure produced by the concave surface moving backward fast will keep the inertia of forward motion of sludge layers of certain thickness. Therefore, when the scraping plate is in a reciprocating motion, a layer of the sludge at the bottom keeps moving forward till falling into the ditch. The scraper’s efficiency reaches the top when the sludge thickness at the bottom is at a certain number.
